Raising a concern

At OUH you have the freedom to speak up about a genuine concern without fear of reprisal and with confidence that you will be heard. You can do this through a variety of channels.

Informal concerns

Wherever possible, please discuss any work-related difficulties and frustrations with your Line Manager and offer honest and constructive feedback about decisions affecting your role, whilst ensuring you work within organisational processes.

In these pages you can find out how to raise a concern about the following, and also how to access the different support that is available to you when raising concerns.

  1. Pay, hours or Trust policy / procedure
  2. Bullying and harassment / sexual safety / discrimination
  3. Safeguarding concerns including domestic abuse
  4. Fraud and/or criminal conviction
  5. Patient safety, unsafe working conditions or poor training
