Our books

To capture a unique period in the history of our Trust, we created three publications with the generous support of Oxford Hospitals Charity.

Beyond Words... Images from the COVID-19 Pandemic

This book, published on 18 January 2022, is a collection of images to mark an extraordinary time in the personal and professional lives of our staff.

All staff were invited to submit their photographs for inclusion in the book, which was designed and produced in-house by the OUH Communications team and Oxford Medical Illustration (OMI).

Oxford Hospitals Charity provided a free printed copy to any staff member who requested one, as well as to our governors, volunteers and others who supported our response to the pandemic.

Stories from the COVID-19 Pandemic - #OneTeamOneOUH

This e-Book, launched on 23 April 2021, tells the story of our response to COVID-19.

The project was made possible thanks to the generous support of Oxford Hospitals Charity.

Dr Bruno Holthof, OUH Chief Executive Officer, said:

"The COVID-19 pandemic has been a time of unprecedented challenges for all of us, both professionally and personally, and one of the ways in which we can make sense of these experiences is by telling our stories, to share how we feel, and to talk about what we did as individuals and in our teams.

"We invited all staff to submit their contributions for inclusion in order to truly reflect the experiences of our people."
