Open University BSc (Hons) Nursing degree

The three-year full-time degree programme provides an opportunity to study your degree flexibly online with the Open University, with additional face to face teaching in our simulation facilities.

During your degree you will have the opportunity to work across all of our sites in a range of clinical settings, working alongside our teams of experienced:

• Nurses
• Specialist Nurses
• Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANP)
• Allied Health Professionals (AHP).

On completion of your studies, you will have access to a range of opportunities at our hospitals to further develop your career as a registered nurse.

February 2025 intake

The next direct entry to the degree will be in February 2025.

This three-year, full-time degree programme provides an opportunity to study flexibly online with the Open University, with additional face to face teaching in our simulation facilities.

We will have a direct entry to Year 1, to study either Children's and Young Adults' Nursing or Adult Nursing in February 2025 - applications opening in July 2024.

Are you a Nursing Associate or an Assistant Practitioner?

You could now 'top up' to become an Adult Registered Nurse, entering Year 2 in February 2025.
