During the men's football World Cup this summer, we’re using this global moment as an opportunity to celebrate the diversity of our workforce and the sense of belonging shared across the Trust.
Celebrating our people
Through OUH World Cup Squad 2026, colleagues from across OUH - including our PFI colleagues - are invited to take part in short staff profiles shared on our social media channels.
These profiles focus on the people behind our services: their roles, what they enjoy about working at OUH, and the countries they feel connected to.
Staff don't need to be interested in football to get involved - participation is open to everyone, whatever connection they wish to share.
Throughout the tournament, we're aiming to feature one colleague per country, representing as many of the 48 teams as possible, drawn from a wide range of roles and sites across the Trust.
Our people are at the heart of everything we do. By celebrating the variety of backgrounds and experiences across our workforce, we want to help create a welcoming, inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and proud to be part of OUH.
This also offers a snapshot of the many roles and career paths that exist across the Trust.
