Oxford Cancer Centre @ Oxford

The Oxford Centre is currently a five linac department with one GE CT scanner, a designated mould room and Brachytherapy suite.

Our equipment refresh programme is well underway with two Varian Halcyon linacs already installed and clinical. We will also have 2 Siemens GoSim Radiotherapy CT scanners with auto-contouring software and 3 TrueBeams with 6DoF couches and RGSC, 2 of which will have HyperArc capability when the refresh programme is complete.

We deliver a wide range of techniques including IMRT, VMAT, DIBH, IGRT, SABR, SRS, TBI and HDR brachytherapy.

Our new OUH Radiotherapy Centre @ Swindon

OUH Radiotherapy Centre @ Swindon is a satellite centre, an expansion of the Radiotherapy services at the Oxford Cancer Centre which will be closely integrated. This brand-new purpose-built unit opens in July 2022 housing 2 Varian TrueBeam linacs with 6DoF couches and RGSC and a GoSim Radiotherapy CT scanner with in-room mould room facilities.

All equipment is networked by ARIA to the Centre in Oxford. It has its own clinic rooms, treatment planning suite, Macmillan patient information area, meeting rooms and good staff facilities in the satellite itself. It is located on the Great Western Hospital site where there is already a comprehensive Medical and Acute Oncology service. Five Clinical Oncologists from Oxford, who cover all the major tumour types, hold outreach clinics in the Great Western Hospital across the week. It is located very close to junction 15 of the M4.

We will deliver a wide range of techniques including IMRT, VMAT, DIBH, IGRT and SABR.
