Ward-based exercise programme
Video
Designed to support patients on the medical wards, this video demonstrates a series of exercises to help them become more active in hospital.
Many people lose muscle strength whilst they're in hospital which can make it difficult to get back to normal when they go home. Moving a little more can help, and so this video takes you through a chair-based programme, but there are also options to do on the bed or standing up. Why not try them at home, too?
Produced by the Active Hospital team, in association with Moving Medicine: filmed at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford by Oxford Medical Illustration.
