There is comprehensive support for researchers at Oxford University Hospitals (OUH) through our specialist Research and Development (R&D) Team, which can assist in progressing studies quickly and efficiently.

Joint Research Office (JRO)

The R&D Team is part of the Joint Research Office (JRO), which brings together all aspects of research governance, finance, contracts and other support services across the Trust, the University of Oxford, Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust and Oxford Brookes University.

Nurses, midwives and AHP

The Trust is committed to strengthening research delivery and research capability and capacity building by its nurses, midwives and allied health professionals (NMAHP), including pharmacists and healthcare scientists.

Intellectual Property (IP) Policy

The Policy sets out the procedures that the Trust has adopted to ensure that Intellectual Property (IP) generated using the Trust's facilities or resources or by the Trust's staff, is identified and managed effectively and in accordance with guidance from the Department of Health and Social Care.

It also provides guidance on the measures necessary to avoid unauthorised use of IP which could lead to infringement action being taken against the Trust.
