April 2020 - COVID-19 update

Although we are taking precautions to minimise the risk of coming into our hospital, we cannot remove this risk. Therefore, we are currently only seeing patients with sight-threatening emergencies who understand and accept this risk.

Eye Casualty telephone triage

Most Ophthalmology appointments are now telephone appointments.

To protect your eyes, please:

  • do not wear contact lenses (wear spectacles instead)
