Gynaecology - Horton General Hospital

The Horton General Hospital has a purpose-built Gynaecology Ward with nine beds.

There is a daily Early Pregnancy Assessment Clinic (EPAC) for pregnant women with pregnancy-related concerns.

  • Monday to Friday 1.30pm - 3.00pm
  • Currently held in the Horton Maternity Unit

The on-site service offers medical or surgical treatments such as:

  • day-case surgery with pre-operative assessment
  • colposcopy
  • outpatient treatments.

Women presenting with gynaecological cancers will be referred and treated in Oxford by the Gynaecological Oncology Multidisciplinary Team.
