West Wing Theatres back up and running

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is able to confirm that all 14 theatres in the West Wing at the John Radcliffe Hospital are open again this morning (Monday 17 June 2019) and operations planned for today are going ahead.

Sara Randall, Acting Chief Operating Officer said: "I would like to thank all the staff who have worked so hard over the weekend to make sure that we are able to bring all our theatres fully back into use.

"It has been a fantastic effort. I would also like to apologise to those patients whose operations were postponed at the end of last week and to reassure them that we are making every effort possible to rearrange them as soon as possible.

"Thank you to everyone for bearing with us."
