This is a fantastic chance to recognise and celebrate colleagues who are inspiring role models or unsung heroes.

Nominate now for the OUH Staff Recognition Awards 2026!

Log in or register on the online platform with your OUH email address before starting your nomination.

The benefit of registration is that you can update and amend your nomination form at any time until the nominations window closes.

Nominations close at 12 midnight on Wednesday 31 December.

The six main Staff Recognition Awards categories are based on our Trust values, and you can nominate either a team or an individual member of staff in each category:

  1. Award for Excellence
They aim for the best and achieve it
  2. Award for Compassion
    Their kindness shines through
  3. Award for Respect
They meet others’ needs with dignity
  4. Award for Delivery
They make sure the right things get done
  5. Award for Learning
They help knowledge and understanding to grow
  6. Award for Improvement
They find ways to make things better

You can also nominate staff colleagues for the Award for Sustainability and, for the first time this year, for the Rising Star Award which aims to recognise staff aged 30 and under, because younger people have previously been under-represented in Staff Recognition Awards nominations.

You can also nominate a group or an individual for the Oxford Hospitals Charity Award for Supporter or Volunteer of the Year. This is to recognise the generous and dedicated people who give up their time to volunteer for the Trust, or who make a difference by fundraising. You should not nominate staff colleagues for this category.

Nominations by patients and the public for the Patients' Choice Award can also be made via the online platform – this is for nominations of teams and individual members of staff by patients and carers, not by staff.
