Staff lottery
The Oxfordshire NHS Staff Lottery is open to all NHS staff from participating NHS trusts in Oxfordshire.
For £1.00 per month, or 23p per week, your unique numbers could win the top prize of £1000, or one of 19 other prizes of £10.
Fill in the application form and the ticket price will automatically come out of your salary each month, so you will never forget to buy your ticket.
After the monthly draw winners are sent their cheques in the post; winning numbers are also posted on Now@OUH on the Trust's intranet.
Where does the money go?
Charitable Funds redistributes the money raised from the NHS Staff Lottery to NHS staff, as grants for purchases such as staff room furniture, a kettle, dishwasher or even Christmas decorations; anything for 'staff facilities' that is not covered by NHS funding.
Applications are considered every two months or so by the Lottery Panel, but small bids of under £50 are discussed every two weeks.
