Oxford University Hospitals (OUH) is launching a new campaign to highlight the diverse backgrounds of its workforce, bringing together colleagues from many nations as one team.

Marking the men’s football World Cup (11 June to 19 July), OUH World Cup Squad 2026 uses the global tournament as a backdrop to highlight what matters all year round: the people who make up the Trust. The campaign reflects a simple idea: Many nations. One team.

Staff from across OUH – including colleagues not directly employed by the Trust – are being invited to share a little about themselves, their role, and the countries, cultures or communities they feel connected to.

Throughout the World Cup, OUH will feature staff from different roles and sites who have connections to many of the 48 teams in the tournament.

While the tournament provides a global stage, the focus is on people and the shared values that bring colleagues together.

From nurses and midwives to admin staff and support services, each profile offers a glimpse into the experiences and perspectives that help make OUH what it is.

Profiles will be shared throughout the tournament and can be viewed on the Trust’s Facebook and Instagram channels.
