Designer and clinical photographers win national awards

Four staff from Oxford Medical Illustration (OMI) – the in-house team which provides services including clinical photography, graphic design, printing, and video production at Oxford University Hospitals (OUH) – have been recognised at a national awards ceremony.
Jackie Love, OMI's Head of Design and Marketing, won a Gold Award and a Silver Award, while Clinical Photographers Sid Neelson, Tom Capon and Amber-Leigh Jordan all won Bronze Awards at the Institute of Medical Illustrators Awards (the 'IMIs') in Newcastle on Saturday 4 October.
Jackie's Gold Award was for the design of Oxford University Hospitals – At A Glance while her Silver Award was for the striking visuals in support of the Trust's No Excuses for Bullying & Harassment internal communications campaign, which is currently focused on sexual safety.
Tom, Sid and Amber's Bronze Awards were for their work as part of the Clinical Photography team at OUH, which is a clinical support service working with patients and the clinicians who provide their treatment.
The annual Institute of Medical Illustrators (IMI) Awards recognise clinical photographers, healthcare designers, graphic and medical artists, and video producers, both in the UK and internationally.
Terry Roberts, Chief People Officer and Executive Director lead for Communications at Oxford University Hospitals, said: "Congratulations to Jackie, Tom, Sid and Amber for this well deserved national recognition for their excellent work and creativity.
"The work of the OMI team is key to supporting patient care, as well as ensuring effective patient and staff engagement."
Roddy McColl, OMI's Head of Service, added: "I'm extremely proud that members of my team consistently win such prestigious awards. It's a real testament to their professionalism, skill and creativity that they bring to work every day."
