Sara Dos Santos Oliveira

Please note, this article is more than 2 years old.

Sara was nominated for a DAISY Award by David Beeson whose mother was cared for before she died by Sara in 2018.

He said, "It was our family's sense that Sara was always ready to go above and beyond anything that we could reasonably expect of her when it came to providing my mother with care.

"However busy she was, she always found time to help my mother and do whatever she could to keep her comfortable and out of pain."

Sara was presented with the DAISY Award by Chief Nurse Sam Foster in a surprise ceremony on Ward 7D.
