On Friday 1 March 2019 Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse Barbara Lemos was presented with a DAISY Award by Associate Chief Nurse Andrew Carter.

Barbara was nominated by Vikie Fretz, mother of twin boys Theo and Jacob.

She said, "Barbara showed such kindness to our twin boys and ourselves as parents. Her positivity, the ways she speaks to and interacts with the boys, and the support and encouragement she has given me has been truly appreciated."

Congratulations Barbara!
