The majority of the tests offered by the laboratory are accredited (UKAS Schedule of Accreditation).

As a result of recent transition to new methodologies some tests are currently provided outside of this scope. These tests have all undergone rigorous validation and are performed under the same high quality control standards. Applications are underway to incorporate these tests within our scope of accreditation.

The Regional Genetics Laboratories participate in the Genomics Quality Assessment Schemes ( or other UK NEQAS schemes for each aspect of our service, as appropriate.

The Oxford Regional Genetics Laboratories have recently undertaken a survey of its users of the Haematology Services.
