Prof Martin Turner MA MBBS PhD FRCP

Dr Martin Turner

The focus of Professor Turner's research is in establishing biomarkers for MND, particularly using advanced neuroimaging. He is now studying the very earliest pre-symptomatic changes to the nervous system in carriers of genetic forms of MND, with the longer-term aim of eventual primary prevention as well as disease-modifying therapy for those living with MND.
