Oxford Acute Myocardial Infarction

OxAMI - Sub study Control Group (Healthy Volunteers)

Trial categories: Heart

Sponsoring organisation: University of Oxford

We need volunteers who are:

  • Aged 18-90
  • Generally in good health with no cardiac or significant medical condition
  • Not claustrophobic

Oxford Acute Myocardial Infarction Study (OxAMI) aims to investigate more detail about heart disease and to see how latest clinical investigation methods combining with the results may improve the way we manage patients with heart disease.

This particular invite of healthy volunteers involves one visit to the John Radcliffe Hospital. You will have a MRI scan of your heart and ECG and blood samples will be taken.

The session will take about two hours in total. You will be reimbursed for your travel.
