Alert Coronavirus / COVID-19

If you have a new continuous cough, a high temperature, or a loss or change to your sense of taste or smell, do not come to our hospitals. Follow the national advice on coronavirus (COVID-19).

Please find information on our services and visiting restrictions in our COVID-19 section.

Relapses can be very disappointing. There is no crystal ball to know what will happen or when and unfortunately none of our medication provides a cure. Despite medication, flares may still occur.

A minor flare may respond to regular use of anti-inflammatories (such as ibuprofen). Restarting any lapsed exercises can also help. If prescribed medication has been stopped we will discuss the options for restarting with you in clinic.

If you are concerned about a flare please contact our nurse specialists who can provide advice and/or arrange an urgent appointment if needed.
