Today (Monday 24 August) marks the launch of ‘Your voice. Your values.’ – a big conversation with OUH patients, the communities which we serve, and our staff to help shape our shared values for the future.

We want to hear from our patients about the values and behaviours which you feel are most important in the care and support which we provide.

Have your say to ensure that our new values and behaviours are shaped by, for and with you!

How can you have your say?

The first phase of ‘Your voice. Your values.’ being launched today is focused on two short surveys – one for patients and one for staff. Simply click on the link below to take part in the Patient Values Survey.

What else is happening?

Workshops for patients are being organised – check our website and social media channels in September to find out how to book a place.

Why should you get involved?

Our Chair and CEO explain why they would like your help to shape our new OUH values.

Sir Andrew Morris OBE (Trust Chair)

"It is essential that OUH is a values-based NHS organisation, so that all staff from ward to Board and our patients and the communities which we serve are aligned around not only the quality of patient care but also the culture of how we treat our patients and each other.

“I would like to encourage as many people as possible to have their say by taking part in our Your voice. Your values’ surveys which are being launched today and the other opportunities to get involved which we will announce in the coming weeks.”

Professor Meghana Pandit (Trust Chief Executive Officer)

“Our values should underpin everything that we do here at OUH and, as we are currently developing our vision and strategy for the next five years, this is the right time for us to review and refresh the Trust’s values which have been in place for almost a decade.

“We would like to ensure that our new values are shaped by you, our patients and the communities that we serve and so please do get involved by completing a ‘Your voice. Your values.' survey.”
