This article is from 10 January 2022

As a Foundation Trust, we have a Council of Governors made up of the public, our staff and partners, who help guide and advise us on how to meet the health needs of the community we serve.

Our governors play a valuable role by holding our Non-executive Directors to account, ensuring that the interests of the Trust's members are taken into account and helping to shape our plans for the future.

Our governors are elected by our members, and we currently have vacancies for public and staff governors in each of the following constituencies.

  • Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire
  • Cherwell
  • Oxford City
  • Northamptonshire and Warwickshire
  • Rest of England and Wales
  • South Oxfordshire
  • Vale of White Horse
  • West Oxfordshire
  • Staff - clinical
  • Staff - non-clinical

Every one of our Foundation Trust members living or working in one of these constituencies has a right to vote and stand for the role of governor.

If you are passionate about the NHS and would like to influence our plans for the future, please consider putting yourself forward.

If you are not yet a member, but would like to join, you can do this online - please visit:
