Your chance to nominate OUH staff for Patients' Choice Award

01/12/2021
This article is more than two years old.

Members of the public and patients are invited to nominate a member of staff or a team who has gone the extra mile to provide outstanding care at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The Patients' Choice Award 2021 is the opportunity for patients, their families and carers to say a special 'thank you' to the staff they feel have made a real difference during their time in our hospitals and therefore deserve recognition.

Nominations are invited from today (Wednesday 1 December) to New Year's Eve (Friday 31 December) as part of our Staff Recognition Awards 2021 which also include categories to enable staff to nominate their colleagues – finalists and winners will be revealed in the new year.

Nominations of teams and individual members of staff are welcomed from patients, as well as their families and carers, across our four main hospitals – the John Radcliffe Hospital, Churchill Hospital and Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford, and the Horton General Hospital in Banbury – and other services which our staff provide from other community settings.

The Staff Recognition Awards are part of the Trust's commitment to recognising and celebrating our OneTeamOneOUH staff.

The Patients' Choice Award was established in 2016 to celebrate the inspiring and innovative work that staff do across the Trust every day to improve the lives of patients and service users.
