Helipad relocation at John Radcliffe Hospital

10/02/2021
This article is more than three years old.

Work will begin in February 2021 on a helipad relocation and improvement project at the John Radcliffe Hospital.

Our main helipad near the West Wing will move to a large grass area by the Osler Road entrance to the hospital. This is our existing secondary helipad site.

This is a temporary move for two years to ensure the safety of our contractors working on the exterior of the West Wing as part of our cladding replacement work, and to allow us to carry out improvement work to the existing helipad.

Sam Foster, Chief Nursing Officer for OUH, said:

"We are grateful to our staff and local residents for their co-operation and patience during this project.  We will work closely with people in the local area to make sure they are kept up-to-date and informed."
