International acclaim for Oxford Craniofacial Unit

A Consultant Paediatric Neurosurgeon with Oxford Craniofacial Unit, Mr Jay Jayamohan, has been elected to the Council of the International Society of Craniofacial Surgery.

Oxford Craniofacial Unit, one of four highly specialised craniofacial units in the UK, and one of the busiest in the world, treats both children and adults with congenital and acquired craniofacial abnormalities.

The Unit is committed to world-leading evidence and scientific inquiry, regularly presenting research internationally.

Several members of Oxford Craniofacial Unit attended the 18th Congress of the International Society of Craniofacial Surgery in Paris, France, on 16-19 September 2019, to present our research and innovation.

During the congress, our Consultant Paediatric Neurosurgeon, Mr Jay Jayamohan, was elected to the Council of the International Society of Craniofacial Surgery - the first neurosurgeon ever to be awarded this prestigious post.
