If you and your baby are discharged from hospital, MLU or home birth within 72 hours of birth you will receive a face to face appointment on day one of being discharged from the hospital (the next day after discharge).
If you and your baby are discharged from hospital, MLU or home birth 72 hours or more after birth you will receive a telephone consultation.
If during the consultation the midwife decides a face to face appointment is required, this will be actioned without delay.
