Tesco creates a little roundabout magic

Staff from Tesco Extra in Banbury approached the Horton General Hospital to see if they could support the hospital in any way.

This generous offer led to the landscaping and planting of the roundabout outside the Outpatient Department, which provides an attractive and welcoming landmark for patients coming for their appointments.

The team raised money by holding a tombola and a store-based fun day where colleagues dressed up, washed cars and 'sponged' the manager.

Radio Horton was on hand to cover the proceedings.

A total of £650 was raised, and all funds were used to buy plants and stones. A team from the store then gave their own time to create the colourful and eye-catching feature.
