October 2020 - COVID-19 update
Due to COVID-19 we do not have any of our usual courses available. We are exploring remote options and this page will be updated in due course.
Our courses are open to Doctors and Physician Associates at OUH at the time of the course, including Psychiatry F1s and F2s, Public Health Medicine F1s and F2s, GP F2s and GP St1-2s, unless otherwise stated.

Basic Airway Skills Workshop
35th Training Workshop for medical students, doctors and nurses.

Lectures, demonstrations and break-out groups, mannekin training including:
- airway management equipment
- laryngoscopic anatomy
- bag and mask ventilation
- standard LMA insertion
- tracheal intubation
- cricoid pressure.
Participant numbers are restricted; places are on a 'first come first served' basis; applicants who cannot be accommodated on this workshop will have priority in forthcoming workshops.
Foundation Trainees can get their Airway competencies signed off.
