Inpatients

Inpatients in our hospitals can have any two visitors with them at any one time between 8.00am and 8.00pm (they don't have to be the same two visitors throughout the day).

We aim to protect patient mealtimes where possible, but welcome visiting during these times if it is to offer assistance and encouragement to eat.

Children

Patients on our children's wards and in the Newborn and Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) can have immediate family members, including siblings, with them at any time.

Wider family visiting will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Maternity

Two birth partners are welcome during labour on the JR Delivery Suite and in the Midwifery-led Units, including overnight.

We welcome one nominated birth / support partner 24 hours a day, in addition to one other visitor 8.00am - 8.00pm.

All siblings are welcome.
