Macmillan Therapy Team

We support Oxfordshire patients who have therapy needs related to their cancer, and we are based in the Cancer and Haematology Centre at the Churchill Hospital.

Our service can provide personalised rehabilitation and support via phone, video calls, outpatient appointments and, where necessary, home visits.

If you live outside Oxfordshire, but are receiving treatment here, please feel free to get in touch and we may be able to offer advice.

Our team can support patients with:

• physically and mentally preparing for treatments
• managing side-effects of treatment
• managing symptoms such as fatigue, breathlessness or anxiety
• helping you stay engaged with the activities that matter to you
• advice on appropriate exercises and physical activity
• physical rehabilitation following hospital admission
• providing information about other sources of support
• referral on to other services as needed.

You can refer yourself or make a referral on behalf of a friend or relative.
