Staff Recognition Awards 2017

The awards invite staff and patients to tell us about members of staff and teams who have gone above and beyond their role to make a difference.

OUH staff members are invited to nominate any staff member, team, volunteer or supporter working across the Trust during designated 'nomination windows' twice a year.

Nominations for the Staff Recognition Awards are now also welcomed for staff members who work closely in partnership with the Trust, but who are not directly employed by Oxford University Hospitals, including in a voluntary capacity.

Award for Supporter of the Year


Supporter of the Year 2017 was awarded posthumously to Liberty, who raised £11,000 for Oxford Children's Hospital after being treated for a rare form of bone cancer.

Liberty sadly passed away shortly after the nomination. She had just turned 14.
