When you arrive at the Radiotherapy Department, you will need to check in at reception. The reception staff will show you how to do this. On the very first appointment you will meet a radiographer from your treatment team who will answer questions you may have.
At subsequent appointments you can go through to your waiting room after booking in. If you are not feeling well please let reception know.
The appointment scheduling team will contact you by telephone to confirm your first appointment in the Pre-treatment Department, where you will come so that your treatment can be planned.

Patients who meet strict medical criteria may request hospital transport to attend hospital. If you wish to request transport please tell your doctor at your outpatient appointment.
Oncology and Haematology patients who choose to pay for their healthcare privately can use the waiting lounge in The Meadows.
