New suite of operating theatres

Surgery is performed in ten state-of-the-art operating theatres.

Computerised Integrated Theatre

Fundraising efforts have ensured that the Centre includes computerised integrated theatres, technology which is important for some aspects of surgery and for the training of future surgeons.

Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

The Centre includes an eight bed Intensive Care Unit staffed by an expert team of intensive care specialists, who are available 24 hours a day to support patients in the post-operative period or with life-threatening conditions.

There is close contact between staff at the Churchill Hospital and the John Radcliffe Hospital ICUs.
