The Department of Clinical Haematology provides a number of services through the department itself, or through or in conjunction with other services, departments or institutions.
For example, laboratory services are provided by various Haematology Laboratories within the Oxford University Hospitals. Some specialist therapeutic services are provided by NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT).
Some haematological conditions such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT) are dealt with in other departments.
