Oxford Heart Centre

Our £29m specialist Centre opened in October 2009, to bring together Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust's cardiothoracic care under one roof.

It has a 24/7 heart attack centre, where patients with suspected heart attacks bypass the Emergency Department and move from the ambulance to the operating theatre in minutes.

We also provide state-of the art imaging and support an internationally renowned academic department of cardiovascular medicine.

A two-year fundraising campaign helped to create this modern and spacious centre.
