Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering serves one of the UK's largest teaching trusts and is spread across both the Churchill Hospital and the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
Oxford is surrounded by beautiful countryside, with excellent road, rail and coach transport links to London and elsewhere in the UK.

Work experience
We offer a work experience programme for university students and graduates who are interested in a career in Medical Physics.
This programme is only open to those with or in the process of obtaining a relevant degree.
Placements consist of two to three days of shadowing work, and take place in July.
We are only able to support a limited number of students each year.
Applications for July 2026 are now closed.
Applications for the 2027 intake will open in early December 2026.
We prioritise applications from those who live or study near Oxford (within 40 miles).
Placements are unpaid.
