This is located in the Newborn Care Unit and is affiliated to the national milk banking association, UKAMB.
The milk bank provides human milk to babies in the Special Care Baby Unit.

If you would like to donate either as a one-off donation, or as an ongoing donor, you will need to be blood tested for:
- Hep B surface antigen
- Hep C antibody
- HIV antibody
- Syphilis antibody
- HTLV antibody
otherwise we will be unable to accept you as a donor.
Please print this letter and take it to your GP to request the blood test (pdf, 231 KB)
As this would be routine screening (as with blood donors) no declaration is necessary on insurance forms.
