This enables us to report the research outputs and impact you are having within your clinical areas and for patients within the Trust each year.

Why you should record your research output

The Clinical Academic Roles and Career Pathways Implementation Network (CARIN) requests these data at a national level. Research active NHS trusts send their anonymised data to CARIN to measure research outputs and impact each year.

Growing a research active workforce is part of the OUH Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professional (NMAHP) Strategy, as well as national strategies.

To enable us to capture the research activity output and innovation carried out by you, please log into Ulysses each time you have new research activity output and complete the  form.

Types of output to record

Poster presentations

  • Poster presentation at local conference, for example within the Trust or University

  • Poster presentation at national conference

  • Poster presentation at international conference

Oral presentations

  • Oral presentation at local conference, for example within the Trust or University

  • Oral presentation at national conference

Publications
