Whilst coronavirus is infectious to children it is rarely serious. If your child is unwell it is likely to be a non-coronavirus illness, rather than coronavirus itself.

Toys

Children coming in for essential care can bring in a few of their own toys, if they can be wiped clean or can be disposed of on discharge.

About us

Most Children's Services in Oxford are based at the Children's Hospital on the John Radcliffe Hospital site in a purpose-built environment for children. Services are also provided in the main John Radcliffe Hospital, Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Women's Centre and Horton General Hospital in Banbury.

We provide a wide range of specialty services for children from throughout the Thames Valley and beyond. Services are largely provided by paediatricians and surgeons with particular paediatric specialist interests, but who also provide the general paediatric service.
