COVID-19 information
Medical and psychological support is still available during COVID-19.
We understand that this is a worrying time for both children and their carers, and would like to reassure patients that we continue to do everything we can to keep our patients, their families and our staff safe.
If you have any concerns about your child's health or wellbeing, you should seek the appropriate medical advice - care is available in our Emergency Departments.
If you're unsure about what to do, there is advice on common childhood illnesses at the link below:
Healthier Together website
You can also use NHS 111 online or see the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health 'traffic light' poster.
Planned appointments / admissions
If your child had a pre-planned hospital admission, procedure or outpatient appointment scheduled it is likely this will have been postponed. You may have been offered a telephone or video call instead.
Visiting
Visiting to children's wards and intensive care units is limited to one parent/carer per patient. They may stay with the patient for the whole of their time in hospital - visiting hours are not limited.
