Professor Tom Cosker MB BCh MSc FRCS (Tr&Orth) FAS
Tom Cosker is a Specialist Orthopaedic Oncology Surgeon with a specialist interest in tumours of the upper limb (he does also treat bone and soft tissue sarcoma across the body).
Tom is an Oxford trainee and originally graduated from the University of Wales College of Medicine in 2000. He has worked in Oxford, Northampton, Reading, Stoke Mandeville and High Wycombe, and completed his Fellowships in Tampa, Florida and Exeter, Devon, where he undertook a Specialist Upper Limb Fellowship under Professor Tim Bunker.
Tom has a particular interest in surgical training and is Director of Surgical Anatomy for the Nuffield Department of Surgery where he is also an Associate Professor. He is working with various partners to bring augmented reality to surgical training to ensure the best possible training for our surgeons of the future.
Tom has developed new and exciting practices in 3D printing, augmented reality and more. He has set up an exchange programme with Sri Lanka and France to train future surgeons, and has been a Consultant since 2015.
Mr Duncan Whitwell BMBS FRCS (Orth)
Mr Whitwell graduated from Nottingham University and trained in Bristol, Oxford and Brisbane before taking up his consultant position at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre.
He specialises in conditions and treatments such as knee replacement, hip replacement and sarcoma.
He is an honorary senior clinical lecturer at the University of Oxford and is regularly invited to local, national and international postgraduate educational programmes.
Miss Harriet Branford-White FRCS (Tr&Orth)
Harriet specialises in the treatment of bone and soft tissue cancer (sarcoma) and hip arthroplasty. She achieved FRCS (Tr&Orth) in 2016.
She trained in London and Oxford with specialist training during oncology and arthroplasty fellowships in Australia, Exeter and Oxford. She was awarded a DPhil (PhD) from the University of Oxford for laboratory-based research on Ewing Sarcoma, and continues to participate in research studies and international collaborations in this area.
Mr Ather Siddiqi MB BS MRCS FCPS FRCS (Tr&Orth)
Ather has studied in Singapore, the USA and the UK, with Fellowships in Germany, Russia and South Korea. He completed a Fellowship in Complex Pelvic Reconstruction and Sarcoma Surgery at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in 2022.
Ather has research interests in 3D printing and modelling in guided surgery and virtual/augmented reality in guided pelvic tumour surgery.
He won a Travelling Fellowship from the British Orthopaedic Oncology Society (BOOS) in 2020, and gained BOOS sponsorship to the British Orthopaedic Association Future Leaders Programme. He also teaches widely.

Physiotherapists can advise how to manage your recovery, with the aim to restore movement and function, alleviate pain and prevent further injury.
They may provide exercises to help enhance recovery after a major operation, and advice about returning to sport and recreational activities.
