Medical Prosthetic Nurse

The Prosthetic Nurse provides expert advice to patients referred into the Prosthetic Service.

They are also responsible for new patients attending the service with regard to:

  • referral triage
  • administration
  • liaising with other healthcare professionals outside of the service
  • ensuring initial assessments are arranged appropriately.

Any Prosthetic Service patient is welcome to telephone the department to speak to the nurse for advice.
