Paediatric Cardiology

The Paediatric Cardiology Department has facilities for diagnosis, management and treatment of heart conditions in infants, children and adolescents.

We are the paediatric cardiology service for the Thames Valley area, parts of Northamptonshire, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire.

We provide a full and integrated service for children with heart disease. We have a fetal cardiac department which provides antenatal echocardiographic assessment, counselling and fetal interventions. We have close ties with the adult congenital heart disease department.

Paediatric cardiology services are based at the Children's Hospital, on the John Radcliffe Hospital site.

Initial contact with this service should be made either through a paediatrician or a GP.
