Research

Research is vital to learn more about conditions such as Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis, and help develop new treatments.

Taking part in research

At OxPARC we are involved with a number of research studies, and we will give you details of studies relevant to you.

Deciding whether to take part is an individual choice, so please think carefully about what the study might involve.

If you are interested in participating, a member of our team can discuss the details with you before you sign a consent form.

Participation is completely voluntary and, even if you agree to participate, you can withdraw from the study at any time. You do not have to give a reason for not participating or for wanting to withdraw from a study.

Children under 16 years of age need the consent of a parent or carer to take part in research studies.

Patients aged 16 years of age or over may decide if they wish to take part, and sign their own consent form.
