Welcome to Children's Haematology and Oncology

About us

Oxford University Hospitals' Children's Haematology and Oncology Service is one of 20 principal treatment centres in the UK managing the diagnosis and treatment of children and young people with different types of cancer such as leukaemia, solid tumours and brain tumours.

The majority of these children and young people will receive care and treatment on Kamran's Ward, on Level 0 of the Children's Hospital.

We also care for children with non-malignant blood conditions, such as sickle cell disease and haemophilia. The Haemophilia Service clinic is in Lion Room, Children's Outpatients, Level LG1 Children's Hospital.

We have close established links with a number of hospitals across the Thames Valley, allowing patients to have support and some treatment closer to home.
