Clinical Laboratory Immunology is on the Churchill hospital site and is part of Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

We are a nationally and internationally renowned department providing a diverse test repertoire, including:

Diagnostic Laboratory

Our extensive range of routine services coupled our reputation for high quality and rapid sample turnaround have resulted in Oxford Clinical Immunology becoming one of the busiest diagnostic immunology laboratories in the UK processing over 350,000 routine tests per year.

Our broad ranges of specialist immunology and neuroimmunology services have earned an international reputation for excellence and attract a significant amount of referral work, ensuring that the OUH Clinical Immunology Laboratory is a leading provider of diagnostic immunology services in the UK.

Translational Immunology Laboratory

The Clinical Immunology Laboratory also hosts the Oxford NHS Translational Immunology Laboratory, which collaborates with senior OUH medical staff and local universities (University of Oxford and Oxford Brookes University) to lead an innovative programme of high impact clinically-focused research.

Our extensive background in clinical validation has facilitated the rapid translation of this work into routine clinical practice.
