Rheumatology Day Unit

The Rheumatology Day Unit occupies a two-bedded area within the Rheumatology Ward.

The unit provides a dedicated area with facilities for:

infusions
joint injections
routine and emergency assessment
education for patients and staff.

Patients can usually be accommodated at short notice if required.

The Rheumatology Day Unit has close links with the multidisciplinary team, wards and research unit, both within the Trust and externally.
