Dr Rashmi Jain is a Consultant Immunologist and Allergist providing expert care in the diagnosis and management of patients with allergy with special attention to food allergy, oral allergy syndrome, aeroallergen allergy leading to allergic rhino-conjunctivitis (grass or tree pollen - hay fever, house dust mite allergy, allergies to animal fur/dander), venom allergy (bee, wasp venom allergy), urticaria and angioedema (including chronic spontaneous urticaria and idiopathic angioedema), anaphylaxis and drug allergy.
Dr Jain undertakes skin prick testing with commercial solution and fresh food ingredients, and blood tests to aid in the appropriate diagnosis of an allergic condition. She provides expert advice on the management of allergy, training in the use of adrenaline auto-injector, and in selected cases can offer desensitisation to grass and tree pollen. In addition to looking after patients with allergy, Dr Jain looks after patients with hereditary and acquired angioedema, and patients with primary immune deficiencies.

Dr Tess McPherson
MA (Cambridge) MBBS MD FRCP
Consultant Dermatologist and Senior Clinical Lecturer (Oxford University Hospitals)
Dr McPherson trained at Cambridge University and London at the Imperial College School of Medicine where she graduated with honours and was awarded the medicine prize for undergraduates. She has lived and worked in Guyana, South America and the United States. In Guyana she worked for the World Health Organization (WHO) to develop improved skin care and treatment programmes for patients with elephantiasis and worked with patients with leprosy.
She subsequently continued her specialist dermatology training at the University of Oxford as an Academic Clinical Lecturer, where she combined clinical training with immunological research into Atopic Eczema at the Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine (WIMM). She further specialised in paediatric dermatology with a fellowship at Birmingham's Children's Hospital.
Dr McPherson is a member of the Executive Committee of the British Society of Paediatric Dermatology (BSPD) and very active in national and international paediatric dermatology. The adolescent service she has developed in Oxford has been recognised nationally (shortlisted for BMJ team of the year and winner of BSPD national prize for patient-centered care).
Dr McPherson is actively involved in research on inflammatory dermatology (eczema and psoriasis), paediatric and young people's skin and patient involvement in dermatology. She has multiple publications in peer reviewed journals. She is the chair for national guidelines (British Association of Dermatology) on severe drug reactions in paediatrics.
Dr McPherson has a strong interest in medical education and is the clinical tutor for undergraduate medicine at the University of Oxford. She is an invited lecturer for multiple national and international courses and conferences on paediatric and adolescent dermatology.

Dr Chris Phillips

Consultant Dermatologist
Dr Chris Phillips is a Consultant Dermatologist and Dermatologic Surgeon based at the Churchill Hospital in Oxford, who provides care in all areas of skin health.
Having qualified from the University of Nottingham in 2010, Dr Phillips brings over 15 years of medical experience and holds dual qualifications in General Practice and Dermatology.
He combines specialist clinical knowledge with a warm, patient-centred approach, and tailors treatment to the individual to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Dr Phillips is an experienced skin surgeon, having performed 5000+ skin cancer procedures on the NHS and is an active member of the Skin Cancer Multidisciplinary Team and member of the British Society of Dermatological Surgery.
He is skilled in a wide range of procedures with a keen emphasis on achieving excellent cosmetic results.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr Phillips is actively involved in medical education and research. He lectures in Dermatology nationally for the Royal College of General Practitioners and for the University of Oxford, where he also serves as an examiner.
His published research focused on listening to the patient voice and how severe skin disease impacts on the individual. The research won two national prizes including Royal Society of Medicine Research Prize.
When not at work, Dr Phillips enjoys playing tennis, cycling and spending time with his young family in Oxford.

Dr John Reed
PhD FRCP
Clinical Lead and Consultant Dermatologist
Dr Reed qualified in 1991 from St Bartholomew's Hospital Medical College, London. He trained in dermatology in London and Oxford. During his training he successfully completed a PhD in Immunology at University College London resulting in several publications in leading scientific journals. Following on from his research, he has developed an interest in urticaria / angioedema and allergy in adults and children. He is a member of the British Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
He was lead for the Oxford Skin Cancer Mulitdisciplinary Team between 2009 and 2012, which won the Thames Valley Cancer Network award for clinical quality in 2011. He is a member of the British Society of Dermatological Surgery. He has been the Clinical Lead for Dermatology since 2012.

Dr Richard Turner
MB BCh FRCP
Consultant Dermatologist
Dr Richard Turner is a Consultant Dermatologist and dermatological surgeon based in Oxford since 1999. He has particular skill in the diagnosis and management of skin cancer, particularly complex skin surgery and Mohs surgery and also mole/melanoma assessment and treatment.
His routine practice is at the Churchill and Horton General hospitals. He has around 9000 patients per year under his care and operates on about 1000 of them (100 of which are Mohs cases). The majority of his work is cancer-related with frequent collaborations with plastic surgery and oncology.
He is the Chairman of the Skin Cancer Multidisciplinary Team and Chairman of the Thames Valley Skin Cancer Network. Dr Turner also supports the general dermatology service with a particular interest in male genital disease. He has been a BUPA partner since 2000 and is recognised by all insurance companies.
Dr Turner is Clinical Director of Ambulatory Medicine at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
