Your appointment
The length of appointments varies depending on how much information we need to collect. We suggest allowing two and a half hours for your appointment, but it may not be as long as that.
What to bring
Please wear, or bring with you, a pair of loose-fitting shorts and a T-shirt.
Please also bring anything you use to help you walk, for example crutches, a walking frame or any splints you might wear.
During your appointment
The cameras and measuring equipment we use will not cause you any pain.
Taking the sticky markers off afterwards can be a bit fiddly, but you can help us remove them if you wish.
You may bring no more than two family members, carers or friends with you, due to limited space.
Your report
Once we have produced your report, and our team has met to interpret the data and make recommendations, we will send it to your referring clinician. This normally takes two to four weeks.
We do not routinely send reports to our patients, as they are complex - your referring clinician will discuss your report with you at your follow-up appointment.
If you would like a copy of your report, please let us know, either when making your appointment or on the day.
