We have excellent hydrotherapy facilities at the NOC. Warm water may facilitate:
Clinical hydrotherapy is increasingly seen as an important therapy in the treatment of many conditions.
Hydrotherapy may take the form of individual one-to-one classes to group sessions. There are female only sessions. There are individual curtained changing areas and towels are provided. There are tailored hydrotherapy classes for treating specific joints such as knees, hip, core classes and a general exercise class.
Patients who are medically fit and have already attended a course of hydrotherapy can continue with a self-management programme.
Classes are run for a maximum of ten participants and there are six sessions at which they are asked to pay a fee of £3.50 per session. Patients can repeat one additional six session set of classes, but this is subject to the demand upon the service.
Please contact the physiotherapy department for times and availability.
