We have excellent hydrotherapy facilities at the NOC.

Warm water may facilitate:

  • increase range of movements of stiff joints
  • reduce pain
  • increase strength of muscles
  • increase exercise tolerance
  • confidence in exercising in water in a local pool.

Clinical hydrotherapy is increasingly seen as an important therapy in the treatment of many conditions.

Hydrotherapy may take the form of individual one-to-one classes to group sessions. There are female only sessions. There are individual curtained changing areas and towels are provided. There are tailored hydrotherapy classes for treating specific joints such as knees, hip, core classes and a general exercise class.
